On 2 Oct members of the 70th Explorers and Midwest Garrison teamed up to support and raise awareness for Neurofibromatosis or NF. Though the weather threatened the walk still went as scheduled and the 501st walked proudly with the other teams. This was the first time the St Louis MO chapter of the CTF held a walk. Here is an e-mail from the event host:
I can't tell you how much we enjoyed the 501st Legion joining us for the NF
Walk and Family Picnic. Please express to the rest of the group how very
much we appreciated your coming out for the event! (If you could provide
their names and addresses, I could send out a personal thank you, but I
don't want to impose, if that is not something they'd appreciate your
doing.)
Attached is the group shot Don took, but it looks as if there were other
folks taking pictures to his left, and a lot of the faces were turned in
that direction. If I get a better group photo from one of the other
families who took a group photo, I'll be sure to pass it on.
Thanks again, Wally, and I will definitely keep in touch. You all were
TERRIFIC~~
Best regards,
Patti
Way to go Troopers!!!
